of the FX Network's NIP/TUCK ***
-- Richard joined the cast of
"NIP/TUCK" in mid-June for episode 5.21, titled "Allegra Calderella,"
which will actually air as episode 6.07 of Season 6. The show is currently
expected to return to the FX schedule in early 2009.
Richard plays Dr. Logan Ayers, a plastic surgeon and apparent
acquaintance of Drs. Troy and McNamara (series leads Julian McMahon
and Dylan Walsh).
The casting breakdown for Ayers has this to say of the character: "35-45,
extremely attractive and refined, James Bond, after a martini. He is a
plastic surgeon with impeccable style and taste whose obessive-compulsive
behavior is just one symptom of his extreme sexual compulsion." The
breakdown goes on to specify that the actor cast in the role must be comfortable
with sexual situations and rear nudity.

films role in "Friday the 13th" in Austin, TX*** -- Richard joined
Jared Padalecki ("Supernatural," "Thomas Kinkade's Home for Christmas"),
Derek Mears ("The Hills have Eyes II"), and Nana Visitor
("Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"), among others, in the Platinum Dunes
produced reimagining of the 1980's horror hit, "Friday the 13th."
Richard plays Sheriff Bracke in the movie, which is set between
the events of the first and second "Friday the 13th" films; Pamela (Nana
Visitor) Voorhees, Jason's mad, mad mother and the actual killer of
the first film, is dead and already enshrined in Jason's (Derek Mears)
hovel hideaway, while Jason is all grown up and ready to take up his mother's
machete.
Jared Padalecki plays a journalist drawn to Camp Crystal Lake
to chronicle the ghastly events and history of the place; Richard's sheriff
is presumably the long arm of the Law in the Crystal Lake area and may
also be a witness to the gory aftermath of Mother Voorhees' rampage.
As one would expect in a "Friday the 13th" story, the cast is fleshed
out with a selection of young people destined to run afoul of Jason Voorhees
as they snoop about the ramshackle remains of Camp Crystal Lake and engage
in impromptu bawdy romps amidst the ruins.
The film is currently expected to hit theaters on Friday, February 13th,
2009.

Richard's 2006 film for CTV and Lifetime TV, "In God's Country,"
airs on Lifetime TV in July *** -- "In God's Country" airs
Saturday,
July 5th at 3:00pm ET on Lifetime TV.
Richard plays Church Bishop Josiah Leavitt, the polygamist husband
of Rowan's character, Judith Joseph. Judith is one of the charismatic
Leavitt's eight wives, and mother to four of his children in addition to
her own older daughter from a previous marriage. Several traumatic events
spur Judith to do the unthinkable -- flee her small community with her
children. Leavitt, of course, gives pursuit, luring Judith's oldest daughter
back home with promises he doesn't intend to keep. Judith has no choice
but to return home and make a stand.
"In God's Country" is produced by Shaftesbury Films Inc in association
with Colossal Entertainment, Salient Point Productions, and CTV
as part of CTV's "Heroes, Champions, and Villains" series of original features.

4 & 5 episodes of NBC's "Las Vegas" to air in syndication on TNT ***
--
Richard's four back-to-back Season 4 & 5 episodes of "Las Vegas" began
airing on TNT on Wednesday, July 2nd at 12:00 noon ET. Originally
airing on NBC in early 2007, the four episodes set up scenarios that lead
into (and out of) the cliffhanger season finale.
"Bare Chested in the Park," which aired on July 2nd, introduced
us to one of the Bellagio Hotel's regular "whales," Vince (Richard Burgi)
Peterson, a hedge-fund billionaire with a taste for high-stakes gambling.
Sam (Vanessa Marcil) schemes to woo Peterson away from the Bellagio
and sees to it that he is coddled, cosseted, and carefully cultivated at
the Montecito.
"Junk in the Trunk," which aired on July 3rd, finds Sam the new
owner of the Montecito, and one saddled with an overwhelming tax debt.
Peterson wines, dines, and woos Sam, going so far as to propose marriage
on bended knee. Lured to his suite for a romantic dinner, Sam learns Peterson
has known all along of her financial situation. Of course, she's been sipping
on a drugged flute of champagne the whole while and passes out, allowing
Vince to truss her up and stuff her into a padded steamer trunk.
"Heroes" airs on Monday, July 7th and finds Sam in dire straits,
still locked away in the cramped trunk. The depth of Peterson's depravity
becomes increasingly evident as he gleefully taunts and torments her --
seems he's done this before, this abduction of young women, and gotten
away with it. Sam is promised a hell on earth as Vince checks out of the
Montecito and heads for his private jet, Sam in tow in her tiny trunk.
Their chapter ends with Vince's jet soaring into the night.
"A Hero Ain't Nothing but a Sandwich" opens seconds after "Heroes"
ends and finds Peterson dragging Sam out of the trunk in order to terrify
and abuse her sexually. Sam manages to pull the handle on the jet's emergency
exit and Vince makes an impromptu exit and fall to earth sans parachute.

its current run on Canada's SPACE: The Imagination Station on July
8th & 9th ***-- SPACE is wrapping out its current schedule rotation
of "The Sentinel" on Tuesday, July 8th with "The Sentinel by Blair
Sandburg," which airs at 2:00pm ET. ("Most Wanted" will air on Monday,
July 7th).
Richard Burgi plays series lead Jim Ellison, a former
Army Ranger now working as a detective for the Cascade PD in his Washington
State hometown. Ellison finds himself almost overwhelmed when his dormant,
and repressed, hyperactive senses are brought back online after a period
of solitude on a remote stakeout. Anthropology doctoral candidate Blair
Sandburg (Garett Maggart), whose chosen field of research is "Sentinels"
-- people with such enhanced senses -- has the answers Ellison needs to
control and work with his powerful and unpredictable abilities. Ellison's
long-suffering captain, Simon Banks (Bruce A. Young) helps Ellison
and Sandburg make the most of Ellison's sensory advantage by watching their
backs and keeping their extrasensory escapades under the radar as much
as possible.
Space began its "Sentinel" run with Season 1's "Switchman," the
series pilot episode. The broadcast roster then followed the show's original
UPN run and continued to air the episodes in original UPN airing order.

July 8th and 9th on TBS *** -- Richard plays
Craig Martin,
the "wrong place at the wrong time" realtor husband of movie heroine Jessica
(Kim Basinger) Martin. Unbeknownst to Jessica, Craig has videotaped
crooked cops executing drug dealers -- and the crooked cops are desperate
to tidy up loose ends. To get Craig and the camera, they abduct Jessica
and the Martin's young son. Jessica has one ace up her sleeve -- she's
managed to patch a busted phone together enough to tap out random phone
numbers, and the guy on the other end, Ryan (Chris Evans), is willing
to help. Problem is, he's on a cellphone, doesn't know where Jessica is...
and his battery's running low.
TBS gives the following description for the film: "A random wrong
number on his cell phone sends a young man (Chris Evans) into a high-stakes
race against time to save a woman's life (Kim Basinger). With no knowledge
of Jessica Martin other than her hushed, panicked voice on the other end
of the tenuous cell phone connection, Ryan is quickly thrown into a world
of deception and murder on his frantic search to find and save her."
"Cellular" will play twice in July on TBS:

We cannot emphasize strongly enough that mail should not be
sent to Richard's home address! Receiving fan mail through his
home address is a disquieting experience and cause for concern, especially
from the standpoint of privacy and safety. If you have come across
what you believe may be his home address, please, do NOT use it! We
-- and Richard -- would greatly appreciate it if you would let us
know where you came across the address by using this e-mail
link to the RBFC.
While postcards, letters, and cards will be promptly forwarded
to Richard, we cannot forward packages; he has asked that no gifts
be sent to him. Though Richard appreciates the goodwill and generosity
those gifts represent, he finds them a little overwhelming. Richard

a local children's shelter or literacy program, or to the Pacific
