Thank you for your interest and participation in the Auction!
The RBFC Winter 2007 General Auction was held from 12:00 noon Pacific
Time on Sunday, March 4th through 12:00 noon PT on Saturday, March 10th.
This auction is a first for the RBFC in that its proceeds will be used
primarily to help offset the Club's increased operating expenses.
We hope that such "housekeeping" auctions will prove a rarity, with
the majority of future RBFC auctions benefitting our official charity,
the Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC) in Laguna Beach, California.
We are pleased and proud to join Richard and Lori Burgi in their support
of this most worthy organization.
Should you wish to donate directly to the PMMC rather than take part
in the Auction, we will be happy to accept and forward checks to
the PMMC (see information below). |
 |
The Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC) is a non-profit organization
run by volunteers and funded by donations. Their mission is to rescue sick
and injured marine mammals, rehabilitate them, and release them back into
their natural habitat. To learn more about the PMMC and their work,

PFP sibling. Size XXXL. Unsigned;
Item 701 -- An official RBFC membership
Renewal gift for 2001 -- a "Not Your Typical Mug" coffee mug featuring
Richard in two versions of a photo shot circa 2000. The photo shows Richard
in a "Hawaiian" shirt with a Chinese dragon motif. Produced in limited

Richard Burgi’s involvement with Johnny on the Spot dates
back to 2001 at the very least, when he was cast as Fred and
Sy
in the earliest performances of the play - directed readings. His involvement
with Neil Landau, writer of the play, goes back to the TV show Twice
in a Lifetime and before that, to his UPN series The Sentinel,
for which Landau scripted an episode. Richard would go on to play
Fred and Sy when Johnny on the Spot started its Summer 2002 run at the
Matrix
Theatre in Los Angeles.
Johnny on the Spot takes us on a whirlwind tour through the past and
future of Johnny, a ne’er-do-well underachiever who has just lost his job
and pushed his pregnant girlfriend Drea to the end of her endurance. Richard

signed by Richard Burgi.
Richard Burgi appeared in nearly half of the first season of
the groundbreaking and immensely popular FOX drama, 24 -
eleven of the show’s twenty-four episodes. When "2:00 A.M. - 3:00 A.M."

teenage daughter. His daughter Janet has apparently run off with the Bauer’s

Jack advises them to stay put rather than widen their search.

by Richard Burgi.
Richard Burgi appeared in nearly half of the first season of
the groundbreaking and immensely popular FOX drama, 24 -
eleven of the show’s twenty-four episodes. When "4:00 A.M. - 5:00 A.M."

a rebellious teenage daughter, Janet.
Told that a young girl, a hit-and-run victim, has been taken to a nearby

of their daughters. To Alan's dismay, it is his daughter, Janet, and the
critically-injured teen has been taken to suirgery. As the episode ends,

Janet. While winding up through the Hollywood Hills, Teri gets a disturbing
message from Nina at CTU -- the body Jack recently discovered has been
identified as Alan York. Teri realizes she is riding with an impostor.

Item 304
-- A production draft copy of the Point Pleasant script, "Secrets and
Lies," signed by Richard Burgi.
Richard Burgi’s character, Dr. Ben Kramer, and his family take
in a mysterious young woman who washes ashore in their seaside New Jersey
community. The Kramers, still reeling from the death of their older daughter
Isabelle, react in different ways to the new arrival; wife Meg and daughter
Judy at first welcome Christina with open arms, while Ben is more reserved
and wary. Turns out he has good cause to be...
"Secrets and Lies" finds Christina ever more anxious to discover the
truth of her parentage, while the Kramers find their family fragmenting.
Meg is increasingly suspicious of Ben, fearing he has misled her about
their daughter Isabelle's death, while Judy is becoming increasingly wary
of Christina and her unsettling abilities.

Item 305
-- A copy of the Point Pleasant script, "Unraveling," signed by Richard
Burgi.
"Unraveling" finds Christina's adopted family doing just that. Meg appears
ever closer to mental breakdown, while Ben is haunted by a seemingly indestructible
videotape in which daughter Isabelle explains why she plans to commit suicide.
Judy kicks Christina out of the Kramer house, which only serves to push
Meg further towards breakdown.
Richard’s signature graces the title page of the script, which is his
working copy.

Item 605
-- An official VIPER crew jacket from the show's final season, '98-'99.
The jacket is size XXXL. Unsigned.
Richard appeared in four of VIPER's first season episodes,
playing Laine Cassidy, Metro City's suave crime kingpin, opposite
James
McCaffrey as Joe Astor, driver of the high-tech Defender vehicle.
Retooled and re-cast with Jeff Kaake and Heather Medway
in the lead roles, VIPER production was moved to Vancouver and into the
new 2820 Bentall studio alongside The Sentinel in the summer of 1997. The
two Pet Fly Productions shows would remain in production at 2820
Bentall until The Sentinel wrapped its series finale in December '98, with
VIPER wrapping its final episodes the following spring.
First season's James McCaffrey returned as Joe Astor for the final season.
While VIPER's Dawn Stern would appear in "Warriors," the third-season
premiere of The Sentinel, a crossover episode was deemed impractical due
to the differing timeframes of the two shows.
